Hotels

The Angus Hotel

46 Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie and Rattray, Blairgowrie PH10 6NQ, UK – 01250 872455

Clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. Didn't try the leisure facilities, but I would go and stay there again. In got a great deal too, so wasn't too pricey. The breakfast had a good choice and there was plenty of it :)

The hotel and accommodations are right for the price. The surrounding area is walkable and it is a nice place for a weekend getaway. The reason for the missing star is the attitude of the front desk staff - asking for anything is treated like a monumental task.

Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

The Fair O'Blair - JD Wetherspoon

25-29 Allan St, Blairgowrie and Rattray, Blairgowrie PH10 6AB, UK – 01250 871890

Often very busy pub. Food is what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. Sometimes i think a couple of extra staff would be handy though. Went to have lunch with my little boy and they had run out of straws. Now I understand it's the school holidays and demand is high but surely they could run out and buy a few pack and straws. This is what my mum ended up doing so my little boy could drink his juice. Simple solution to a problem id think

Staff were lovely, cleanliness was top notch, and the food was great, well presented and tasty. We arrived early tea time and it wasn't too busy, but by the time we left at 6pm I was surprised it had gotten so busy! We were in a booth and there wasn't much noise! Overall, a great experience with a great meal

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation plus Guesthouses

The Lantern Bed and Breakfast

Kintrae House Hotel, 52 Balmoral Rd, Blairgowrie and Rattray, Blairgowrie PH10 7AH, UK – 07392 328261

Stayed here in December. By far the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in, felt more like a hotel suite. Will definitely be staying again in future. The breakfast menu is also outstanding when you think it's a bed and breakfast. Highly recommended.

This B&B could be a 5-star hotel. Donna is a great host and the communication with her was excellent. Everything is spotless, bed's super comfy and the room's full of small details (teas, fresh fruit, chocolates...). Breakfast was simply superb.

Gilmore House Bed and Breakfast

Perth Road, Blairgowrie and Rattray, Blairgowrie PH10 6EJ, UK – 01250 872791

I have stayed at Gilmore House over the last couple of months for work .The hospitality from Gill and her home is second to none. lovely comfy rooms , fluffy towels, lovely bathrooms, such detail nothing left out, so thoughtfully detailed. added to that breakfast of freshly picked amazing Scottish fruits and cooked breakfast all beautifully served. I will miss not staying there when I finish working in Blairgowrie.

Very clean breakfast was fantastic lovely room and great ensuite plus very quiet

Rosebank House

42 Balmoral Rd, Blairgowrie and Rattray, Blairgowrie PH10 7AF, UK – 01250 872912

Great B&B with very friendly owners - also dog friendly. This is a FOUR star B&B (not 3-star).

What a lovely warm welcome we received. Nothing was too much trouble. Sparkling clean house. Beds were so comfortable you didn't want to get out of it but breakfast made it worthwhile especially the homemade bread & jams. Lovely wee touch if home made cookies & tablet in the rooms too.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Blairgowrie Holiday Park

Lovey good sized lodges. Nice easy walking distance from high st. The Travel cot was great quality my little girl slept great in it made her first holiday much easier. Only one thing missing, i would have liked a BBQ at the lodge or even the opportunity to hire one.

We spent a night in motorhome. the holiday park has great facilities. very clean toilets and large showers. there is a family room - great to give a child a bath! nice play ground. hugely recommend!
